craftsbury_academy_rendering.gifBuilt in 1868, Craftsbury Academy is one of the oldest functioning school buildings in the country.  The decision to upgrade infrastructure while maintaining historical integrity has paid off.  The new biomass plant designed by Yeaton has improved the learning environment and the bottom line of the school's operating budget.

Vermont Public Radio recently conducted an interview with School Board Member Harry Miller, in which he discusses the infrastructure improvements and the drive to go green.  Listen to the interview or read the transcript of Craftsbury Academy Goes Green.
